Hi from Durango CO!

I bought my first old bike two summers ago, shortly after I arrived in Durango. I got a 1968 Schwinn Breeze Deluxe and then decked it out with vintage accessories. I spent more on the accessories than I did on the bike....

Just recently bought a 1960's 3 speed cruiser (nothing special) and stripped the paint and then set out to rust it. The process was a bit of a science experiment, but I'm happy with the results. I now have the perfect saddlebags (old ration bags) and am still looking for a rack and lights (thinking about building my own). Anybody have anything rusty?

Anyway, I'm glad you're here and I have enjoyed reading all your stories.

My wife and I took our only real vacation to Durango about 10 years ago...rode the steam train to Silverton, visited Mesa Verde....great memories!
