My name is John I collect muscle bikes from late 1960's and early 1970's mostly 20x16 type. I have also started collecting mid 1970's MX bikes. Had a Free Spirit MX bike Black with Green fenders when I was around 12-13. I think it was a 1976. I like Huffy's, Murrays, AMF, etc. I like the Huffy Thunder Road type bikes with the small fake gas tanks so I am looking to collect those. I like mostly original and complete in nice condiditon, but they are hard to find sometimes in that condition. I feel like there are not a lot of people collecting these type of bikes. I have only met a couple. If you do collect these, let me know so I don't feel alone at likeing these. I like these since they were around when I was young.
I loved riding my Free Spirit as a kid even though it was a tank compared to the Huffy's and Schwinn. These bikes make me smile and bring me back to a simpler time that was fun.
