Whoa I've been wanting a chrome frame Spaceliner for a couple of years now (every since I first saw one) and finally scored with good ol' Craigslist last week. [WIN] It had been in the original owners basement for who knows how long. I'm pretty sure it's a '64 model.....it's in pretty good shape, most of the grime will clean off with 409. This is in "as found" condition. The seat and tires are original, but as you can see, it has a front end issue. Bad enough that the headlight lens is missing, but the bezel itself is sMAshEd. Also the entire taillight assembly was removed at some point and never returned to its rightful home. Sooooo you know whats coming  can anybody help me out with any of these parts???

Nice find, Welcome to the site. If you ever want to sell it I'm sure I can find room in my bedroom somewhere  ....or maybe the guest room? :? I don't have one in there yet.

Beautiful! It is going to clean up really well.

I don't think finding a headlight lens should be too much of a problem, but finding a nice taillight unit (if it had the taillight and not just reflectors) might be tough. I think they rotted out pretty frequently because the louvers in the rack let water right in.

I have a early sixties spaceliner myself, that I am replacing the whole relector unit,if you just need the lense ,let me know, heres mine,i just got some nos Firestones for it that I need to install, and I still need the 7 type tank for it.

A very good score, I have both tank version Spaceliners that need fixing, some day I would like to get both a springer and the tank for atleast one of them.

Cool spaceliner. I have one just like it.
Mine is also missing the tail light. My headlight housing is cracked but it is still all there.
I'm not sure how to date these bikes. I did pull a third quarter '63 date off the tires.

Well that's the trick now isn't it. Been looking for the taillight lens for mine for awhile. My bezel is cracked but not as bad as this one.
