Hello, I have been active in the world of bicycles for some time. I recently got into the whole rat rod bike thing out of a desire to make use of all of the various bike bits and pieces I have accumulated over the years ( as well as other stuff I have saved). My most recent projects have been a Schwinn tandem from the late 1940's and a 1973 Raleigh Super Course.

Cool bikes, but I'd love to know what plans you have for the Marantz in the background! Bikes and vintage audio are two circles of my life's Venn Diagram...still figuring out the third circle.

New here to the forum but glad to run across this post because I too share the bikes/hi-fi affliction..... SO +1 on the Marantz, haha.... let us know when you decide to part with it!
Love the tandem build! Any more detailed pics? I have a Columbia tandem frame I have been thinking about electrifying. Needs a front fork so looking for ideas on that.

Welcome. You'll find that you can assemble your parts stash in any order and if the final product can be called a bicycle we'll love it. Your Raleigh has an unusual order for the two sprockets. Are you changing gears by switching between these two sprockets? Some do this with two sprockets in the rear, one in front. But your way is not unheard of.
