I am happy to have found this site. I love vintage bicycles and have been restoring them for over 10 years. I build bicycle wheels for several shops in town and have my own spoke inventory as well as a Phil wood spoke cutter and threader. I live in Reno Nv. Here are some pics of one of my bikes. Also just came across a vintage Vista Torino 500 all original but have no clue of its value. I will post pictures soon. just copy and paste to view pics

Welcome !!! Cool 20" tanker :D

I think Ive seen a youtube video of your PW spoke cutter, at least i seem to remember the custom knobs on the truing stand anyway. Impressive stuff :D

Welcome, I have built a few wheels myself (few thousand). More than a few of us are jealous of your Phil Wood tool. I remember building the old 60's-70's aluminum road rims where the diameter changed with the spoke tension as the rims were much softer than they are now. Front wheels were larger than the rears due to less tension, and front tires were very difficult to mount. I picked up a five foot long vernier caliper to adjust the tension by measuring the diameter.
