Hi all, I'm new member but have been a lurker for a while. I'm an automotive engineer that works in drivetrain systems. I have varied interests bicycle-wise, I have the two 20" bikes from when I was a kid, the obligatory mountain bike, a late-model Schwinn Deluxe-7, and a '75 Varsity that I've been working on restoring.
However, I've recently fallen victim to the rat-bike bug, and just picked up a rusty blue Schwinn American that was on craigslist. Just as interesting, it came with three other rusty bikes that, while I wasn't planning on, I didn't pass up. Two appear to be Columbias, the third I haven't identified. I think it might be a Sears bike or a Murray, but I will start a new thread for that once I've taken some pictures.
