Hello all, thanks for having me. My name is Ed. Been working on and riding bikes since the mid 70's. But until recently never really did any custom work on them since me and my buddies had the local mechanic use wire hangers to weld a second pair of forks on for us back in the 70's. About 6 months ago I got my hands on a 1947 girls Monark Super Deluxe a few 70's and 80's Schwinn's and a 1976 Free Spirit Ted Williams Jr edition Trike. And went to work on them. Got a bunch more bikes since, but that group sparked my interest again. Just started on the trike last month.

Only before photo a have. Just got the ape hangers that day. The originals are on the ground next to it.

The front wheel and tire are going away. Bike was originally a 24" and decided to use a 24" wheel up front and 26" wheels in back. I'm having longer axel shafts made so it will have a wider stance.

These are a few of the other bikes I've picked up.

Really nice fleet. Welcome🙂

I think maybe I will. I picked up a set of NOS Murray King Kat and a set of Murray Fire Kat forks as well. I'm going to look at an unknown year or make girls muscle bike on Tuesday a friend's neighbor wants to sell for $40. May be a donor bike. Could be fun and a good way to ease into this new hobby for me. Thanks for the suggestion. Pondo and wildcat
