Justin at Porkchop BMX recently sent me a few items that he wanted us to take a look at.

First off is the chrome Sturmey Archer 16T X 3/32" BMX freewheel. The quality on these are really nice and they will work with either 3/32" or 1/8" wide chains. They sell for $15.99 each.

Next are these really nice CR-MO 13/16" seat post with 7/8" seat mounting. These allow you the ability to run a wider range of seats on your old school BMX bikes. These are available in straight or layback models and they sell for $16.99 for straight and $19.99 for layback.

As with everything that Justin sells, the product and the customer service is excellent. I think he is the fastest shipper in the bicycle aftermarket industry. He always uses USPS Priority so you usually get your stuff within 3 days.

I can tell you that the SA fw ain't sealed. FWIW, SA makes em in 16 to 22t, but porkchop seems to only carry the 16t version (standard old-school bmx size.) No clue about the number of pawls/engagement, but I'd count on it being low.

I got a chromo 13/16/7/8" post from porkchop ages ago, but the layback version is new. Looks cool; i'm sure I'd fold it, though.

I gotta +1 Steve's comment about the service and lightning-quick delivery. So danged fast! Also, Justin tends to wrap parts in printouts of GA mug-shots, which is awesome. :android: One of these days, I'll do a 100% (or as close as i can) porkchop build.:rockout:

He's had the chromo laybacks before, just been out for a while. I snagged one when stock was low for my RRBBO7 bike and hadn't seen them back since.

The discs and chainrings are still my favorite part of Porkchop :113:

Another thumbs up for Justin - he helped me with some seriously noob questions and parts when putting together my swingbike, and as said quickly shipped the parts wrapped in GA mug shots!

Me, too. I've noticed he's got fewer sizes and colors on offer than in the past; I wonder if he's planning more runs, or if he's just going to keep going with the more popular styles.

I thought he may have been giving up on the purple / green ano stuff but FB post yesterday showed purple / green stuff is back in stock too on the chain rings. Maybe just not pushing those colors on newer items in the future maybe ? (stems). Think he said he was working on stocking up decals and tires lately but who knows the wait on the suppliers. Even when he's out of stuff I feel like I need to wait until the guy gets stocked back up. Justin always seems to treat people right.

He told me today that he's got a big shipment arriving in 3-4 weeks.

Sounds like he may be stocked up soon!
