I haven't moved over yet. I tried it a while back and when I downloaded a couple of pictures
I couldn't find them. I know they will make you move. I am use to the old one, but they are
making it harder to use. When you download a picture it stays at 99%. I got to where I went to
the album part and clicked on it and it loaded the picture. I hate changes. :( :(

I am totally frustrated! I can't even view my whole album, let alone copy a pic that is beyond the first page! Just sat here for 15 minutes waiting for it to load. It still wasn't fully loaded & I still couldn't copy the desired pic. Am I missing something? :x :x :x :?

The thing that I don't like is that the photo quality isn't as good anymore.

They have reduced the quality level at which files get compressed to and now the photos end up blurry compared to the previous version.

If someone knows how to change the quality level on the new site , let me know.

I couldn't find a link on my photobucket page to contact them to complain, so I googled "contact photobucket". Guess what? This is what I came up with!

"We're sorry, an unexpected error occurred." Please try again later.

I'm about to pull out my hair! What's left of it anyway. I'm thinking they should change the name to "Crap Bucket"!

Now that my blood is boiling, I better back off & hope one of you guys can help me out!

I think in an attempt to make it mobile friendly theyve crudded it up for the rest of us ...
I normally use my iPhone to upload pics and I still like the old one better. Also on my desktop it requires another few clicks per picture I post to get the code rather than the old one just hover over and copy it. I am gonna miss the old one but the new one works and it's still free so I guess I can't complain too much but as my auto tech teacher always said
"It works... DON'T "FUSS" WITH IT!"

It made me view the new bucket once and I declined it, so mine is still the old bucket. The site has so much garbage ads it takes forever to load, and sometimes will not. It's always been a pain to use but I like the site storage, no need to waste my terabyte on pictures.......

Customer support will always be lacking severely on something that is free. haha

Yeah, it's a pain, remember when you could click a check box on a bunch of photos and then generate code for all of them? That was nice, maybe you can still do it, but I don't see it.

With all this "security" they add in where it adds a bunch of random letters and numbers after your file name, you just have to keep going back to the site for each freaking image tag! I use to name my files sequentially like "mombike01.jpg, mombike02.jpg, mombike03.jpg, etc... and then I would just past the first image tag into a post, copy it a bunch of times and then just change the number... nope, can't do that anymore! :x

I tried teh new version a while back when it first came out and hated it and reverted back to the old.
I finally switched over last week expecting the worst, but was actually surprised. It's a different user interface, but once I used it a couple of times, it was actually just as efficient as the old one. This wasn't from casual use either. I prepped about 8 bikes for sale this past weekend, so I had plenty of photos to upload and put links into ebay and craigslist as well as some links since here on RRB. Once I got used to the process, I like it fine.

I guess it's a relative thing. I didn't have the older version so I have nothing to compare it to and therefore it seems to work fine for me.

We're all creatures of habit so change is hard to accept sometimes. I have hung onto an old browser in the past until it just wouldn't work any more before moving on. I always get frustrated when I get an upgraded graphics program. Then after I'm used to it and when I have to revert back for something, I appreciate it more.

To quote Sia: "Some people have real problems".

Ever thought of using flickr's free account? Yes, it only allows 200 viewable uploads, but Even at $25 a year for premium with unlimited viewable uploads , it isn't a bad deal. It's easy to use and they don't crush your image quality.

I hate that whenever I need a picture it's usually at the bottom of the list, and at over 1200 pictures it takes FOREVER to scroll down
