With a couple of 'ladies' builds in my future, I've been looking a 'chick' accessories like skirt guards.
Found these, handmade by a gal in Holland.

Check out the paper clip fastening system, that's almost 'rat rod' (in concept anyway, maybe if they were rusty or painted flat black they'd look better :wink: :mrgreen: )

Nice. I remember those 'guards' as vintage items. In Holland. Did you have those in the past in the States as well?

Here is another example of a bike sporting some nice custom female touches:

It is an old Dutch 'omafiets' (Grannybike) resurrected by Schuurvondst (Barnfind) and 'dressed' by Dutch designer Anna W. As you can see the frame is turned upside down to create a 'vintage' mens racing frame. Schuurvondst has all kinds of neat projects of old bikes stripped to the bare-essentials and a minimum of extra styling-touches.
