New Spitfire...

Here is the Spitfire I picked up a few weeks back. Just found some tires for it and got it rolling last weekend. Not crazy about the white walls, but it is what I have for now. I have the front fender sitting in the basement. I am taking a dent out of it, but I like the look with it removed. It may stay off.

I have been riding it to work for the last few days. Whew! What a chore. This thing must be over 50 pounds! Makes the hills on the way to work a new challenge. I feel like a smoker again.

I have some 'lil apes I was thinking about trying. Will post pics soon.

Also looking for '50's bolt on parts with similar patina.
