Hello All, I just subscribed to this site and wanted to introduce my self. I've been into bike's since I was racing them back in my teen years. Then I got into cars and that carried on for............well it has not stoped yet and I'm 43, but now I take the car restoring and modifying and bring it to the bikes I'm working on. I have been able to aquier quite a few vintage frames, some baloon tire cruisers and about 5 20" Stingray frames. I was actually lucky enough to come accross a 1951 Schwinn straight bar. It had I'm guessing 1960's ape hangers on it when I found it. I then was able to aquier a bananna seat and sissy bar for it. I have yet to paint it but last year I went through it and put some late modle wheels on it and cut the sissy bar down so the bananna seat is about a half an inch off the rear fender (which I assume is original that someone bobbed years ago) so I now have a very ratty looking great ridding vintage lowridder. I will be adding pics of the bike's I'm currently working on. This is a great site and I can't wait to get some feed back on the picks I put up. You all have a great day.
