I've been around bikes and riding them since I was able to touch the pedals. Started in high school with a road bike and kept going from there. Raced for UCLA in 94 and burned out on that. Now I just ride for fun. I've had road bikes and mountain bikes since the 80's and just recently got into the vintage stuff. Flipped an all original 71 Schwinn Racer when I decided that wasn't old enough for me.
Now I've got a 46-7 Murray built Higgins(?) that was built with unknown vintage parts (may or may not be original). Currently runs with a modern springer, unknown vintage rack, a 90's road bike stem I had laying around that fit the steer tube and a 2.125 slick in the rear and a 1.5 up front.
Those parts will be transferring to a 41 Snyder frame I'm prepping now for a powder coat accented raw metal finish.
