Newbie Looking For Info

Hello,

I stumbled across this website looking for car stuff and was floored by how cool those bikes look in the gallery!

I gotta build one, but where do I start? Can anyone help a newbie out?

From browsing around the site it looks like most use old school 50's cruiser frames? What sizes do they generally come in (24", 26",?) What's the standard size? Besides JC Higgins what other frames are out there that I should be on the look out for?

I appreciate any advice you can give to me. Thanks so much.

majority are from the 50's but theres everything from 1910's-2008's floating around here :mrgreen:
as for what bike should you use....whatever you can get a hold of that you like...as for the size most are 26" bikes although some are 24" or 20" if youre over 5'4" youre gonna be best off with a 26"
