I remember that saddle. Still makes me nauseous. And those aren't ape hangers, they're moon bars.
I always felt the saddle fit the bike! A saddle that caresses your “....”while riding your “donkey” !!
It’s actually a comfortable saddle .

What’s an off road build consist of? I’m new here
Exact rule set is still TBD but basically something with knobbies. Klunker, big boy bmx, gravel, mtb

Would be cool to devise an Off Road vs Skinnies contest... two classes, vote for a champion in each, and then the winners duke it out for the ultimate supremacy in a final vote

One of my off road builds this year will be this natural patina'd 67 typhoon. Stole the bars and pedals off it today for my muscle bike build.
So I think i've heard from several folks publicly and privately that will probably be down for the off road buildoff when the time comes.
The question then is, do we have another category to accompany?
Just looking for ideas and some discussion
- Offroad inspired build
- Must have knobbies
- Klunker, MTB (retro or modern), gravel, etc......
- Do we include BMX?

I'd say BMX should be included in offroad, mainly because there was no BMX category in the MBBO this time
Economically I cannot build what I was hoping to at this time, so on that note, I'm down for BMX... depending on wheel diameter requirements!

I would say include BMX as well.
I think that we shouldn't include a knobby requirement. There are soooo many good BMX tires out there without them now. Sizes from 16 up to 29's. In the groups i ride with, I've seen plenty of PK Big Rippers on the trail without knobbies.
