are these supposed to have the "anti-spin" washers on both sides of the axle?

my 4 speeds are 1 side only, never had a 3 speed nexus though, 1 should be enough if 1 will keep the axle from spinning though.
 
thanx CCR.. I saw a diagram and it listed 2 in the parts but only 1 in the pic..is yours yellow?

yup, mine are yellow

i think theres 2 more (grey and some other color ive never seen) for different dropout angles. ive never seen anything but yellow on cruiser bikes, ive seen grey on a comfort bike but the dropouts had a steeper angle like it was meant to be a derailer bike.
 
Thanks Guys. While we're on the subject, was it ever confirmed that a Sturmey Archer shifter will work with a Nexus? :mrgreen:

dunno, but I'm trying a Simplex stick shift on one this weekend.
