I'm currently building a truss bike as a Golden Gate bridge tribute. The build thread is on the site here. Anyway, i'm thinking of putting a Nexus 7 speed in it so I can handle the hills of the city. My question is, is there an earlier version of it that doesn't have the modern spun aluminum look hub to it? I've seen some early shimano 3 speeds with a Chromed steel hub that looks more vintage for what i'm building but I truly would love a 7 speed with a vintage look to it. Somebody help me out with pictures, or better yet a whole setup I can buy!! :lol:
