My wife, my 9 year old son and I just came back from a 3 day trip to Niagara falls. I called a couple of bicycle rental places about renting ourselves some bikes but for insurance reasons they only rent adult bikes. The first morning of our stay I was up at 5 am (early riser) and while my family (and apparently the whole city) slept I went down to the falls to take some early light pics.
The streets were basically deserted except for a handful of tourists, some maintanence workers and myself.
I thought to myself 'a bike ride would make this perfect, I'd give my Kingdom for a bicycle right now'. I walked up the steps and found this.
I'm laughing and thinking 'This must be be a set up, too good to be true'. There wasn't a soul around. The tires were firm and it sill had 1 good brake cable.I had to talk myself out of riding it but I said to myself 'If she's still there tomorrow I don't think anyone will mind'. The bike sat there all that day. It poured that night and rained into the morning but on my rainy morning walk I saw she was still there. It was starting to rain harder so I headed back to the hotel and never did ride her. I'm too big a chicken I guess.
