Olli's bike is a pretty nice piece of work, for sure. The front end is an interesting part, but it's not the only one.

Single-sided front steering is
not new at all.
The oldest image I have of one is probably very close to 100 years old:

In the above pic, note that the tires appear to be white rubber.
This was typical only before WW-1, when the wartime demand for rubber drove manufacturers to use extenders to reduce their need for natural latex. The most-common extended they used was carbon black (still used today).
If you see an old image with a vehicle with white tires, it is
almost certainly taken before 1914.
I have no idea if this motorcycle was a custom or not. (-also if you look closely--you see that has a single-sided
rear end as well-)

very very very difficult to invent any "new" style of bicycle.
