Usually where it's 'handled' the most. The top of the top tube, the front the seat tube, the inner edge of curves, the outsides of the chainstays,seat says and cantilever bars from being laid down. Typically, the area around the bottom bracket doesn't wear much, must be protected from contact by the pedals/crank.

If you want the look of sun fade, like a bike that was stored outside, against a wall, shine a light towards the bike where the sun wouldve been. Then, "wear" the paint where the light is most intense. Leave spots where things like the seat or chaingaurd would've shaded the frame.
