Picked this 84/85 mongoose mountain bike from the local CL for cheap. Hey Steve got any pics of your old one? specially the rear derailleur, this one is missing the original one and has 1

non original crank arm, everything else seems to be there including the pro class wheels.

Yeah...not bad for $50.

Yep...I've got photos of the one I had alrighty.

I thought nobody recognized what it was from the little blurry picture

Looks like it's supposed to have a suntour mountech on the back. Also this one has a different fork (bi-plane)from all the other ones I've seen(unicrown).

Yeah...I'm a little annoyed by this one because I was trying for it myself, but as usual, you snatch them all up.

Sorry man, couldn't pass up on a set of 26" pro class wheels ;).

It was HUGE...and I ended up selling it to a really tall guy who had come over to buy a bike for his wife.

We finished the deal on her bike and then the guy said...."Now I guess I need to find a bike for me."

I laughed and said....boy do I have a deal for you.

Apparently I am not the only one finding rare Mtn. bikes. Nice score!

Hey yours has a bi-plane fork too, first time I see them on these. 8)

Those are such cool bikes. There is one down at the Boise Bike Project with a bi-plane fork too.

They are awesome bikes I love the fork and the rims, i'd never part it out, it rides like a dream, I put fatter gumwalls on it too Found some nos tires for 5$ each lolbike was the best 30$ investment i've ever did lol. I got it cheap because it was really really rusty I always have to lock the wheels up good when I go places, People always eyeball them lol
