Old rear sprocket size?

I was mocking up a new build and found out my KMC Z-chain does not fit my old Komet Super hub's sprocket. Why??? :!:

Is the chain 1/8"? That is the typical size for single speed bikes. If you got a 3/32" chain for a multi-speed bike that dould cause the problem. Or if the sprocket is made for a heavy duty bike, there is a 3/16" chain that might have been used on it.

That is all considering that the sprocket isn't skip tooth.
