I went for a 4 mile hike on the mountain bike trails in the winter storm with my wife and saw two bikes tracks in the snow. I also saw a University student riding his road bike to class on the icy roads. He made it look easy, oh to by young again.
Not a lot of snow yet but the wind is up to 60mph. We have flooding along Lake Superior shore with roads closed because of flooding. The wave below is going over the break wall and flooding the road.
Many people have drowned going out on this break wall in storms. In the last few years it has been posted and fenced.

Open waters of Lake Superior; outside the break wall. I saw two guys getting ready to surf here, I hope I don't read about them in the paper. The winds were so high that I could not hold the camera still even though I had it pinned to a tree. The winds were blowing me around and I could not stay steady.
