overland rim true straightener

could anyone help me know more about this rim true. i have no idea what its worth all I know is that it says overland rim true straightener grand rapids mich
 
Looks like it's for pulling dents (like from a straight on curb hit) out of a rim. With the tire off set the "wings" in the rim and get the yellow hook on the underside (spoke side), centered up on the dent. Then just turn the crank and pull the dent outward. I've never actually seen one of these, so I'm just making this up as I go :D

I'm guessing also, but I think you are correct.
 
I have used this tool on a hundred rims, works well but has a tendency to crush thin soft walled rims, no worries because you are saving a lost cause.

I would say it is worth $100+
