Paint restoration advise

So what is the consensus on brightening up the paint on my Rollfast? I want to get the rust staining off but I 'm not expecting miracles either.

Honestly, Acid dip works awesome...Wood bleach or whatver...

But it kind of dulls it down a bit...I did it on my girlfriends JC higgins.
