paint schemes on Schwinn fender help needed

Hey all, getting ready to paint the fenders on my build off bike (http://www.ratrodbikes.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=55&t=39655&st=0&sk=t&sd=a).

Keeping with the Schwinn 'flavor' of the bike I'm looking for paint designs for the tips of the fenders.
But also, those of you with painted fenders, can you give me some dimensions on them, like how far back the 'point' is from the front (or back).

I think it varies somewhat. When I painted the fenders for my mother's bike like that, I used a stencil kit that I found on eBay for it. Worked pretty well. The only real variation that I did was to paint both ends of the front fender instead of just the front.
