does anybody know if a Schwinn panther tank will fit a Schwinn typhoon?

Panthers have straight bar frames. Typhoons are cantilever. No way. Gary

Wasn't there a 60's Panther with a peanut tank? That tank attached to 2 tabs welded to the frame. Except for the tabs, that frame would be the same as a cantilever Typhoon.

Crassly is correct, of course. :!: My brain is permanently stuck in balloon tire mode. :roll: All balloon tire Panthers are straight bars but the middleweights were cantilever. If you have a middleweight Panther tank, you would have to have a cantilever frame with the tabs under the top bar. Gary
