Something always comes along to make you feel better.

I this case I made a straight up trade for an Electra Townie 3s Cruiser giving up my 1998 Dyno Deuce Cruiser in return. I have a motor home and I like taking along my bikes but these Dynos are really heavy and I needed something lighter. The Townie fits the bill well. Thinking of upgrades to it and I am going to start with fatter tires. Any of you guys with similar bikes, what have you done to them to make them your own.

You must have read my mind, I was thinking Fat Frank Cream tires. I have 26. 1.95 on it know, will the 2.35s fit on these rims? There is plenty of clearance on the frame, just wondering about the rims.

I have worked on several townies in the past. They are really well built and super comfortable. I am sure you will be happy with it.

Just ordered my fat frank cream tires. Actually spoke to someone at Electra who said could do it on stock rims if there were no fenders on bike. I have taken my bike out on a few rides and it is awesome!

Fat Franks are awesome tires. I'm about to retire a set; I've worn the rear's tread down to almost nothing, but it took me several YEARS of all-weather commuting with a coaster brake to do it.... and only 2 flats the entire time! I'm replacing the cream ones with brand-new black Fat Franks; this time, I'll rotate front-to-rear every few months....

Just dropped Fat Frank tires as weather is decent for a change. What was a comfortable ride before, is even better now. They also add some nice swag to the bike!
