well due to the up and rising colder weather I have lost my Schwinn crank set I had on my 54 spitfire.
when I went into my shed to dig thru my parts I noticed it was not in it's original spot but rather on the floor.
when I picked it up the arm was bent and the sprocket rusted badly
well since I had it in the trade section I said a few choice words(use you're imagination I have to refrain from posting them here but they were bad lol).
the good news is the rest of my parts are in good shape and I have since moved them out of their certain death.
so where there is darkness there is light. the sprocket should clean up relatively good but the crank arms are shot.
since I am building a klunker I suppose I could run this sprocket f I can find a good set of crank arms.
the point of this rave? anyone ever have the misfortune of losing a part or parts that you had plans for?
just figured id start a convo on it and let you all vent off if need be just keep it clean is all I ask for respect lol
