I have a pedal that was bent at some point while in the crank. I'm having trouble bending it back. The pedal still works and all but it rides weird. Question is... I have taken the blocks and end caps off and am down to just the round center piece with the treads sticking out.
How do I pull it apart to get at the bearings and bent shaft? Would a picture help?

Pics would help. But- On the end opposite the crank there should be either a nut OR it will be crimped/press fit. If there is a nut, take it off (over a coffee can since the bearings are all loose) and finish taking it apart. If it is the other type you can force it apart but you will not be able to reassemble it.

so it looks like I might be out of luck for taking it apart. any ideas on how I can set it strait?
