Perry hub

Picked up a early 50s Firestone bike that has a Perry one star hub in the back wheel. It has two threads on it - fine thread on inside holding hub together and coarse for mounting to bike.

Guessing this is not right for the bike. Am I wrong?

I think I've seen Perry ads as a new item in some circa 1953 American bicyclist magazines, so it could be og. They didn't become real popular til the late 50s though. -Adam
