Persons Supreme? What year was this bike made?

It says Persons Supreme on the pedals. I never heard of this one before. It looks '50's to me but not sure. The chainguard is missing and I don't know if it once had a rear rack. He wants $20 for it. Also there is another bike that I can use for parts to put this one back on the road for $40.

CWC frame, probably a 50-52 Western Flyer--they were known to come in that color scheme and chainring. Persons-Majestic was the manufacturer of the pedals, and probably the saddle. Definitely worth the Jackson!

Yep. There is likely a date code stamped under the bottom bracket (where the pedals attach).
