I know Peugeot had that paint/decal scheme with the 12 speed setup in 1986. I had a 1986 PH501 that looked VERY similar only in maroon.

I'm not sure how long the 12 speeds were available. Definitely mid-80's though.
 
I did this one up for a Neighbor last year..it has better components ..I found it next to Roll off Dumpster..Heck saved me from jumping in..LOL :lol:
