Phillips birthday bike

I bought this at a flea market for 4 dollars years ago. It was missing the chain. I like the curved twin bars, I've never seen that on an english bike.

I should be working on other things, but my oldest's bday is coming up Sunday, and she wanted a "curvy" bike. So she'll get this 1970 Phillips. I was using the wheels and bars on my youngest's Robin Hood, but she's getting upgraded to 3 speed w coaster.

I still have to clean up the fenders, and the tires are shot, so I might look at whitewalls at the LBS today.

Love the lines of that bike..to bad it's a chics bike...I would like to see it as a Mans bike...but it is what it is and it shur is nice anyway :wink:

I'm putting the fenders and original seat back on after cleaning them up. The old bell and front brake goes back on too. Then it's all original except the tubes and tires. I'll post pics when it's complete.
