Yesterday was Shannons Winter Wander in the Hunter Valley. The run is open to rods, classics, muscle - basically any cool old car is welcome (and a few more modern ones snuck in too). The run started at a shopping centre, then went on an hour(ish) long cruise through the Hunter Valley Gardens to (which we never went in to  ). It was a great run with a really eclectic mix of cars and the cruise was great, rather than just another static show and shine.
My ride for the day was my brother's '71 Ford Fairmont, enabled me to grab some pics out the window as we drove.
The run was great, definitely one I'd be keen to get back to. How many runs can you go to where you see a 50s style custom wagon, a brand spankin Nissan ricer and a classic European sports car all parked net to each other?
