Yesterday I joined a very small and exclusive group of people who have witnessed a space shuttle launch from the seat of a tallbike. On my way home a photographer from the Florida Times Union took my picture and asked for my name. Then this happened...

Cool! I always wonder how you might mount a tall bike if there's nothing around to climb up on?

Thanks guys!
Carbon, this bike is really easy to mount & dismount. There is plenty of room to put your foot on the chain stays in front of the back tire. While holding on to the handlebars you put your right foot on the chain stay, then push w/ your left foot like you're on a skateboard, once you have it rolling you put your left foot on the pedal and throw your right leg over the seat. There's only one extra step versus how you'd do a rolling start on a regular bike...
FaceOFFbikes, The handlebars are 6'5" and the seat is 5' 4 1/2", it almost always looks taller in pictures. I keep it in my carport but it does fit in the house.
Here is a video of a similar bike I built in action, the end of the video has pictures of most of the tallbikes I've built.
