Adapted this idea for improving the problematic storage situation in the basement and shed, ie: piles of wheels, tires, fenders, frames etc. etc. etc.

5/8 steel rod painted rat rod flat black, horizontal piece is sleeved with clear tubing.

if youre tired of stumbling around those skirt guards? ill buy um off ya . i need to build somethin for wheels too. ill probly use this same method!

i've got about 60 pieces of 4ft & 5ft long 5/8 solid stock left over, might just make a winter project out of some mass production. Couple of friends of mine are after some of these already. Of course I'll have to move them again before the snow starts to fly, Just what i need, another project.

For now, the skirtguards are going to stay with the frame and fork.

I did that with a 12 ft or so pipe, its a pain if you ever want to get one down. I have waaaayyy to many rims though haha. I just went through them and hung them differently so they are more accessible.
