Okay, maybe it's not really pink yet, but if I leave it out in the Sactown sun this summer? CL score August 1974 Typhoon HK631395. Cranks were stiff and would not turn until I manhandled with carefull loving brute force into submission. Tried the same technique on the kick stand and oops the fight began! I lost. Who's the brute force fool now? I soaked the entire bike including the hubs, rims, tires, grips, seat, frame and all fasteners with Blaster spray lube. That will show em who's boss! Not sure what to do with these stock S7 Westwind tires and wheels. Might be for sale if anyone wants em. Side walls are cracked but lots of tread and correct. I also saw a dent in one of the rims. Correct rims with the knurles. Someone educate us on the hubs please! Single speed with a bendix coaster on the rear. Handle bars and stem look to be changed but the sparkle grips were awesome. May not be able to save em, pretty sticky now from the spray lube. Lost that fight also I guess. The Plan!!! I think I'm going to go with balloon tires with a tank for a slightly modified Kuttnhack version of a Phantom or Jaguar clone. Maybe this should be the pink bike for the build off? i just picked one of those myself, two daze ago ,yours is in alot better shape ,mine is purdy crusty and my wheels are toast,let me know wat you want for yer's :wink:
