A couple of new finds, the first I'm calling the Pink Warrior...I found this bike at recycled cycles in Lawrence KS (go KU) where my kids go to school. It is a Coast King Sky Warrior, story is it was sold at the Lawrence Coast to Coast store then traded in to RC by the original owner. I'm a sucker for this style Huffman bike (have 4 now) but this is the youngest one at 1959. It was originally red but years of sun have faded it to pink, thus the nickname. The rocketship tank graphics are the coolest, and I plan to leave it this way. I have an NOS set of .175 Uniroyal chain blackwalls for it, and need to find a seat. Will post after pics when I get it together.
The second one I traded a 80s/90s Western Flyer repo for...Its an early 60's Roadmaster Jet Pilot. It has the wrong pedals, grips, and headlight, and also some real cheesy glued on plastic jewels on the rear rack, but has potential.
