This is just a makeover of a previous bike.

Over here in the Philippines they have a class of bikes called playbikes. There are thousands of them and they are mostly customized by the owners. They have rides and clubs established. Most are 20" bikes.

Those look like fun! Are they only popular in 20" or also 24" or 26"?
Are they used for wheelies or races?

It's closer to lowrider type bikes, for cruising the boulevard with a hundred others. A lot of the banana seats have thick padding which I would prefer. In Manila they have lots of room to ride.

It looks like a land of very short bikes and very short people. But certainly creative and purpose driven.

Where do you find these grips? They look like the old style Bates motorcycle grips.

They must have some specialty shops making them. I can't find any big banana seats either online or at any store in my area.
Like mini velos or folders, 20" bikes can accommodate larger riders, but I always look like a circus bear riding one. I'm just making one or two for fellow riders.
