PLEASE HELP ABOUT BRAKES

HEY RAT ROD,
I just picked up new bmx brake pads from a cycle store and installed them on my bmx. My front wheel is responding well to the brakes but my rear wheel is not at all stopping.....its like i press the hardest still it wont take the name of stopping.. i really baddly need help... should i do something on my rims or with the brake pads...

is the cable pulling tight? Maybe thicker old pads and thinner new pads? you can loosen the cable hold, squeeze the brakes in with your hand (not the cable) and pull a little more cable through. Just keep 'em squeezed til the cable stop is tight.
