My elderly neighbor had this Montgomery Ward Hawthorne
bike hanging in her barn for many years. She needs to know
what it is & what its worth?

Any info you guys can share would be very much appreciated!

Yes, once identified & appraised, she then plans on selling it.

Nice lookin middle weight bike looks to be all original thats a + nice paint ,chrome should clean up good , depending where your located ? here in Ca. in my opinion that bike should get from 150.oo to 200.oo

scrumblero ,you live in the bay area ,im sure you've seen that stuff that guy is tryin to sell on cList for hundreds and most of his dont even have tanks ! :roll:

I washed it off, aired up the tires & took it for a spin
– this bike RIDES LIKE A DREAM!

I now have this bike listed for sale
locally for $195.
