I'd have to say I'm with Davey B on this one.
If I wanted a restored bike I would buy one finished as it costs about 3 times to restore a bike as it costs to be one finished. I sold the parts to people that needed them so all I have is the frame and am buildibg a custom

some body told me one time that ne one can restore a bike but not everyone can make a custom...... i can't wait to see what you come up with.......

Love the way you saved the graphics. Wouldn't have thought of doing that myself but I am making a mental note for future references. This is way cooler than a restored Monark in my opinion.

actually I just thought of doing that as I wanted the bike darker but wanted to save the graphics and not have a bright blue guard> i just feathered the paint up to the graphics and actually covered the graphics some then scotch brited off most of what was on top. I will get closer pics when I am finished with the bike
