One day you'll roll again.

The thought has crossed my mind several times over the years, but every time I look at it....I just can't bring myself to part with it.

You just need to quit stealing the parts off it.

Put some one piece cranks on it plus this wheelset on it.

Isn't that the bike you kept at work?

what's wrong with us?!

leaving genuine prewar frames to ride modern interpretations of prewar frames!

it's a disgrace!

Nah...not your fault.

Haven't really built any true rat rods in a while now so it would be easy to think I don't have any.

May have to come up with something using the Elgin eventually.

Ha Ha....yeah Bendix...it's hard to beat good looks, comfort and the ability to stop well.

This is the one I regret letting go...

It rode like crap and felt like you were sitting on a frying pan, but it just oozed vintage coolness in my mind and I enjoyed staring at it.

Of everything I've built, that one was the closest in my mind to what a rat rod bike should look like.

The only issue with the Tuxedo was riding it.

It looked cool, but again,....garage art.

Hey Steve, didn't you once buy/refurbish a Schwinn King Size American? I think it was you...that has been on my want list since I saw it...have never even seen one in person.
