1979 DG Vulcan replica by TrueTorch. I rod a DG as a kid and decided to buy this one when I found out #2 in the run was still sitting in their facility. Mix of old school and replica bits. I tried to build it as close to how I had mine as a kid but with linear pull brakes as I like where my teeth are currently.

I'm considering a 3-bar cro-mo Cook Bros-style build from JTT or Santa Barbara Cruisers. Anyone got any thoughts on those or others who are building something similar? Thanks in advance.

I LOVE the look of the Article One. I've loved that bike for years. Love the rear seat stay and crush box. I'm just never sure when they have one.

The article one is really cool. Contact Paul and ask him if he can build you one. He’s a good guy. I bought a Red Menace cook bros replica frame and fork from him. He packed it extra well too.

CL find, shined up and with upgrayedded wheels, stem, handlebar, pedals and saddle. Everything else was on it as purchased.

I'll be keeping this bike as a rider for a while. The wheel upgrade was a kind of experimental set I whipped together and unlike the original boat anchor steel wheels, are a pleasure to cruise around on.

The Akisu fork before resto:
