Nope, never been there.I would’ve had that sissy bar finished right now but I spent too much time cleaning up my work shed so I could finish my sissy bar.
I think he should swap this one out for a Floyd Rose.

I'm enjoying this adventure of yours.

Are you sure you are an engineer, not a politician?Just an engineering misstep, not an error. Like when a politician gets caught in a lie, they just "misspoke".
Nice coverAnother "engineering anomaly". I thought it may have been another misstep, but I was wrong.
Ravenhurst, displaying a solid understanding of how this all worksI would take pictures, but a friend of mine told that people on the internet HATE mock-ups, so...
Two highlights, one post. This guy is efficientCleaned (the cups) up and got them pressed in. Most people refer to my press as a rubber mallet.
Now that I've added that 1" coil on top, it's nearly rigid, anyway. I set my gut over the bars, hiked my Chuck Taylors up off the ground, and did fat man planks. It didn't even come close to bottoming out, though I had to catch my breath for a moment, after all of that exertion.
He might have seen me working...As the wise man once said, "If it ain't broke, fix it till it is."
got a couple scratches on the frame before I could get the clear coat on it. I had to wait until it sat for 7 days to cure. It only made it 5 days...
Once I paint it again I will hang it up so high the birds will be afraid to land on it. I will not even look at it.
Since looks can kill I am sure they can scratch and maim as well.
#ratrodlifeI'll need another 26" fork. The wife is asking where are all the forks I've bought in the last three months. Well, a few got chopped up and weren't useable and got stashed under the workbench but that's not what I tell her. I go into a lengthy explanation about angles and ratios and pull out frames and wheels until her eyes glaze over and she says "Oh I see".
Noted. I'll have to try that!I’m got sick of looking at the candy blue on the frame and the lack of progress so I changed the photos to black and white
I’m Daying,
one Cope at a time.
