Anyone know how i could go about powering 2 12 volt Lights? There 12 volt 6 amp tail lights. I would need constant power and a toggle switch would be ideal.
Thanks in advance

6 amps is a good amount of power, it would drain a 9volt in no time, its gonna take a serious battery to run a 6 amp lamp.. my bilge pump in my fishing boat is 12v@6a and its 500gph!!

Hmmm maybe one of these might do the trick but it's alittle big and I'm not sure about the specs on it .they have others like it that are rechargeable. I was going to buy one last summer and use it to run some light strips on a lowrider. Hope it helps

Thanks everyone, im going to try the Battery from RS. Let you all know how it goes.

more of a question than answer, but couldnt you use a 12 volt cordless drill battery? i think the plastic shell could be trimed to save space. how long would one charge last running a headlight? guess thats 2 questions.
