Found this at an old antique store. Has the new departure 2 speed hub. Brass headbadge and even has the key for the locking fork.

did a quick cleanup on the rear hub out of curiosity. the new departure model d is in great condition. no rust or flaking chrome.

You don't have to part out the whole bike just for the pedals! Those aren't original to that bike so I thought if you were putting some black ones on, I'd take those.

Nice find. Does that chainring have 26 teeth or is it smaller? The 2-speed ND conversion is worth some bucks. Lobdell rims. That bike has enough neat features that I'd keep it just like that. Gary
