ive been wanting to do a diamond frame build for awhile, but no luck coming up with right frame. i ended up winning the frame, fork, and stem all in separate auctions over a 17 hr span, for a total of $21.81! :D the seller combined the shipping, and it reached my front door for $40.99. i tried doing some research on it and found some old literature showing a 1941 hawthorne litewate, that looks the same. hoping someone more knowledgable can shed some info on this bike! :D im sending out the phil signal!

It's fun to do a diamond frame once in a while, and you got a great deal on some awesome parts! I'm no help in identifying things but I can't wait to see what you do with it.

Why can't I ever find a deal like that?

i was 'watching' the auction but spaced it out......

i'm glad a rrb'er got it at a great price though! :D
