prewar Schwinn guard

I pulled this from a 36 Schwinn motorbike. However this one is blue, and matched the frame/fork set. But I normally don't see painted versions. Any idea what one like this might sell for? I don't have anymore prewar Schwinn bikes to use it on and thinking of selling it. Thanks

I have a painted maroon hockey stick on my New World, then had a black one on a previous New World. Probably a 50-60$ guard.

I thought I saw a catalog pic of a painted one on a prewar mead. Anybody ever seen anything like that?

Pre war Schwinn, no doubt about it. That guard was used on virtually all deluxe bikes in my '37 catalog like the Cycleplane Deluxe and the Autocycle.. I don't have a '36 catalog. In the '38 catalog, there are none pictured...gone. Gary

This one is original paint though. Did many Schwinns use a painted one in this style?
